Art Basel Miami came to a close last week after hosting a bevy of artists, collectors, galleries, corporations, performers, and more. Twenty years after its inception, it has become one of the largest venues to find art and design, and where luxury brands flock to showcase their new creations. One such luxury brands is Audemars Piguet. As the most sought-after Swiss horological brand, Audemars Piguet is a supporter of the arts and has supported Art Basel as a global Associate Partner since 2012. As part of this partnership, Audemars Piguet invites clients and friends of the brand who love contemporary art to each edition of Art Basel in Hong Kong, Basel, Paris, and Miami Beach.

This year, Audemars Piguet chose Art Basel Miami to introduce Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Starwheel during an exclusive evening in Miami Beach. The event brought together watch aficionados and celebrities alike. Singer-songwriter, producer and friend of the brand John Mayer participated in a discussion about watches with François-Henry Bennahmias, CEO of Audemars Piguet, who unveiled the arresting new model. The Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Starwheel incorporates the wandering hour display invented in the 17th century, proving the brand continues to honor the artistry of craftsmanship.

“It is a real pleasure for me to present this new Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Starwheel, which is a long-awaited contemporary interpretation of a small complication that has been important to AP for a very long time."

The third night focused on music with a party hosted by DJ and record executive Zack Bia and friends. Guests included rapper Travis Scott, record producer, rapper, and songwriter London on da Track; fashion stylist Bloody Osiris; Latin superstars Nicky Jam and Prince Royce, soccer greats Blaise Matuidi and Paul; Pogba, Heron Preston, Hannah Bronfman & Brendan Fallis and more.
