Renowned Florentine jeweler Carolina Bucci is continuing her longstanding relationship with acclaimed Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet by releasing another collaboration for the brand. Bucci has designed the new K.I.S.S. collection (Keep it Super Simple), a line of jewelry inspired by haute horlogerie, the art of luxury watchmaking.

The collaboration between Audemars Piguet and Carolina Bucci started in 2016 when Bucci reimagined the Royal Oak for the 40th anniversary by adorning the watch in her signature Frosted Gold finish, a surface treatment achieved by beating gold with a diamond-tipped tool, which creates tiny indentations on the surface and gives a sparkle effect similar to that of precious stones.

The latest collection drew inspiration from the intricacies of mechanical watches. Bucci wondered what would happen if a movement was given the freedom and space to express its complexity and precision on the wrist or around the neck as jewelry. The result is a collection of gold bracelets and a matching necklace reinterpreting the aesthetic codes of a mechanical watch’s balance spring through a flexible sinuous coil of 18-karat gold.

The bracelets are available in two different sizes and varied hues of yellow, pink, white, black and brown gold. The collection will be presented at Audemars Piguet’s newest boutique in Dallas and will be available exclusively in the U.S. at select Audemars Piguet houses worldwide including London, Hong Kong, Barcelona, and Nagoya.
