Igbo actor Chiké Okonkwo grew up in England, where he built his career in television, film, and stage, notably acting with the Royal Shakespeare company both in the United Kingdom and in New York City. Okonkwo has recently exploded onto American TV with leading roles in NBC's La Brea and BET's Being Mary Jane, as well as the video game world, voice acting in Anthem in 2019 and Call of Duty: Vanguard in 2021. 

We sat down with Chiké to talk about his “form agnostic” approach to acting across mediums, his theater background, and his his commitment to telling African American stories.
