Fashion designer Dee Hilfiger has collaborated with artist Ashley Longshore for Hilfiger’s Dee Ocleppo fashion line. The result was a collection of absolutely marvelous scarves in a variety of colors featuring Longshore’s beautiful female figures adorned with flowers, butterflies, and birds.

When Hilfiger was in Italy in early fall where she produces her handbags and shoes for Dee Ocleppo, she went to the factories that produce gorgeous silk scarves for many top fashion brands, including Gucci and Ferragamo. She was watching the process for how these scarves were printed, and she was inspired to create a collection for her own line.

After doing some mockups, she tried to add designs, and Longshore came to her mind immediately. Hilfiger and Longshore had been friends for quite some time, with the former proudly claiming what a huge fan she is of the latter’s work, particularly the Audrey Hepburn portraits. Hilfiger then called Longshore, who replied with a “Hell yea!” When asked if she would be willing to collaborate on this.

"I love what Dee is doing with her brand, and an opportunity to work with an incredible woman-led business is the type of stuff I live for.”
