Dolce & Gabbana has hopped on the NFT train. The Italian luxury brand in collaboration with UNXD hosted an exclusive cocktail event at their Fifth Avenue flagship for the debut of their NFT collection, Collezione Genesi. 

The collection, auctioned exclusively in partnership with curated luxury NFT platform UNXD, featured nine bespoke NFTs and generated 1,885.719 ETH (nearly $8 million at current exchange.) The Collezione Genesi, widely created with ushering in a new era of luxury and fashion NFTs, was on display in its entirety during the event on loan from their owners. The exhibition will last two weeks. 

The guest list for the debut event included many prominent personalities from both entertainment and the crypto world including 8-time Olympic medalist and co-founder of Hybridblock Apolo Ohno, Red Dao member and managing director of crypto investment firm Magnetic Megan Kaspar, founder and CEO of BitScale capital Zurab Kazhilopi, Other attendees included Alexandre Assouline, music artist Alex Mali, Andrew Warren, Aube Jolicoeur, pianist, composer, producer Chloe Flower, Conor Kennedy, rapper Duckwrth, Jonathan FoodGod Cheban, Jonelle Alert, Prikita Swarup, Remi Bader, Serena Kerrigan, and musician Zeke Thomas.

This event was just the beginning for Dolce & Gabbana’s foray into the NFT world. The brand announced that they will be continuing their partnership with UNXD with an exclusive new launch to be revealed soon.
