KARL LAGERFELD: A LINE OF BEAUTY
The spring exhibition of the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Musem of Art, “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” showcases over 200 objects that spotlight Lagerfeld's distinctive working methodology and stylistic vocabulary. The exhibition focuses on the late designer's aesthetic and conceptual themes expressed in his fashions from the 1950s to his final collection in 2019. Lagerfeld's sketches accompany most of the pieces, offering insight into his intricate creative process and collaborative relationships with his premières d’atelier. The exhibition will be on display until July 16, 2023.
