Karl Lagerfeld has unveiled its first ever collaboration with French silverware label, Christofle. Designed by Karl Lagerfeld, the limited edition cutlery set is Christofle’s first collaboration with a fashion brand and will be part of the its MOOD line.

Inspired by the Art Deco movement, the 24-piece set will be available in two exclusive colourways and include a flatware set, decorative cases, and elliptical egg shaped storage capsules that come embargoed with the KARL LAGERFELD logo.

“Our wish was to collaborate with a designer who embodies French elegance, and whose creations blend know-how, modernity and timelessness. Mr. Lagerfeld’s international stature resonates everywhere Christofle is present. In addition, our collaboration on MOOD allows both Houses to speak to a cosmopolitan, discerning and epicurean hedonistic clientele,” said Nathalie Remy, CEO of Christofle.

For Lagerfeld, who has been a dedicated patron of Christofle and owns several pieces in his own home, this marks his second tableware collaboration after designing a collection of crystal glasses with Swedish brand Orrefors in 2011.

MOOD KARL LAGERFELD is currently available for pre-order at The Webster NY, Christofle New York (Madison Avenue), KARL LAGERFELD New York (Soho), and online at www.christofle.com and www.karl.com. The limited edition capsule collection will be launched at Christofle and KARL LAGERFELD stores across the world on October 1st, 2018.
