Loewe is spirited away. Japanese animation house Studio Ghibli has launched a second collaboration with the luxury label inspired by one of their most famous films, the 2001 anime classic Spirited Away, directed by Hayao Miyazaki. The film won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature at the 75th Academy Awards ceremony. 

The Loewe x Spirited Away collection features all the movie’s most famed characters including the protagonist Chihiro, mysterious Haku, and sorceress Yubaba, to Kaonashi the spirit with no face, and the Fly-Bird and Susuwatari soot sprites. The characters are emblazoned across ready-to-wear, blankets, and scarves, as well as on leather and canvas bags including the Amazona, Puzzle, Hammock, and Flamenco, totes, and small leather accessories. Figures are rendered in jacquard, prints, appliquès, patches, leather, marquetry, and embroidery.
