Hot on the heels of the Versace acquisition, Michel Kors has kicked off its fifth anniversary Watch Hunger Stop Campaign to fight global hunger.

The brand's partner in the effort is the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), and all funds raised support WFP's school meals program. Last year, WFP provided school meals to more than 18 million children in 60 countries, providing them with vital nutrition that helped them fulfil their potential.

The initiative will see the brand collaborating with a slew of artists such as actress Kate Hudson and musician Hailee Steinfeld, amongst others.

Hudson is one of the few longtime supporters of Watch Hunger Stop and continues to partner with the brand. “There’s something so simple but so deeply important about the work that the World Food Programme does,” said Hudson. “It is not just that [WFP] feeds children—though they do that and it’s incredible. They also work to support families and education and local economies, working towards a bigger picture that enables communities, and ultimately countries, to get back on their feet. I really do believe that if we work together at this, we will see an end to world hunger.”

Steinfeld, who appeared in the 2017 Michael Kors The Walk campaign, will also lend her influence to the cause for the first time this year. “It was an honor to team up with Michael Kors again, this time for such an important, worthy cause,” says the actress and singer. “All children deserve to have their basic needs met in order to fulfil their greatest potential. If we band together, we can end hunger for good.”

In addition to the celebrity collaborations the brand has also launched limited edition t-shirts that will be available across Michale Kors stores and online. Created by multi-media artist Eli Sudbrack I AVAF, the t-shirt design honors the U.N. goal of achieving Zero Hunger in the world by 2030. For every t-shirt sold, the brand will donate 100 meals to children in need through the World Food Programme.

The special-edition watches that have been a part of the Watch Hunger Stop effort since its inception, will also make an appearance. 100 meals will be donated to WFP for each watch sold. The unisex style is sold exclusively this fall in select Michael Kors stores worldwide and online at michaelkors.com retailing for $275.

A special Watch Hunger Stop Snapchat geofilter will be launched on October 1 where customers can stop by almost any Kors store and 25 meals will be donated for every snap taken using the filter. Additionally, with WFP's app Share The Meal,  you can donate as little as $.50 with a tap on your screen.

Customers can download the Share The Meal app at http://wfpusa.org/MKSTM2017.

Furthermore, direct donations to WFP can be also be made at the register in select Michael Kors stores around the globe. Just $5 feeds a child in school for a month. Users can text the word MKHUNGER to 50555 to make a $5 gift. In select countries, visitors can go on WatchHungerStop.com and donate to WFP directly.

"Hunger is a global problem but it’s also a solvable one,” said Michael Kors. “However much you choose to get involved, you will make a real difference in someone’s life. One of my dreams is to see a world with Zero Hunger, and we are working hard with the United Nations World Food Programme to make that a reality. I’m proud of what Watch Hunger Stop has been able to accomplish so far, but we’re not done. So we continue to work together to zero.”
