You don’t bring me flowers anymore, but Richard Quinn did. Colorful and creative designer Richard Quinn is the latest designer in Moncler’s Genius Project, which brings together different designers in the industry to reimagine Moncler’s collections and ski jackets. For his take on Moncler’s brand DNA, Quinn did what he does best, tons of color and floral patterns.

Quinn didn’t hold back with this collection and was truly fearless in his approach to bejeweled details, trapeze dresses, and ball gown style silhouettes. Many of these pieces aren’t your traditional jet setters ski coat, but, rather, fit for a ball. Trapeze dresses and demure coats with jeweled buttons are an homage to the sixties.

However, the video in question is unmistakably contemporary. Models enter a neo-futuristic chamber like room and strut the runway in florals, feathers, and nylon realness. This is without question a serve. If anyone was wondering what Richard Quinn’s favorite subject in school was, geometry would be an easy guess by this video. From the opening shot of an octagon to entering an all-black and white room with square tiles, this video is all about the shapes.

This collaboration marks the second time Richard Quinn has worked with Moncler. For the 2019 edition of the Genius Project he did the 0 Moncler Richard Quinn collection. Quinn’s vision continues to be absolutely fearless, but nothing less it be expected from a man who was honored by Her Majesty the Queen in February 2011 with the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design.
