Clark, whose work is often compared to that of German photographer Helmut Newton, was born in Cork, Ireland, in 1950. He is best known for his meticulously composed and highly constructed photographs that perfectly balance glamour and provocation. With his visual interests in women and rubber, he has secured his position as a master of erotic black and white imagery.
