On the 30th of November, the Stella McCartney x B&B Italia three-piece capsule collection was officially launched at Art Basel Miami Beach at B&B Italia Miami’s store. The partnership was inspired by Stella’s admiration and passion for Italian architect, critic, and designer, Mario Bellini. This three-piece collection collaboration of sustainable furniture marks Stella’s first-ever interiors collaboration. These whimsical and cozy pieces include the Le Bambole armchair, Bibambola double seater, and the Granbambola 3-seater sofa, each in an eccentric yet earthy upholstered print titled “Fungi Forest”. The inspiration for the print was pulled from Stella McCartney’s Summer 2022 runway collection. 

Half a century after its debut, the Le Bambole series has evolved through a plethora of innovative design elements to make it more comfortable and sustainability conscious. This capsule collection combines the reputable quality and durability of B&B Italia products with responsible material and construction choices fueled by Stella McCartney's environmentally conscious mission. Additionally, the reimagined Le Bambole has been designed to come apart allowing for simple repairs and responsible utilization of the materials at the end of its' life. And, Le Bambole’s upholstery is 100% biodegradable and will break down into compost and soil at no detriment to the environment.
