Superga has teamed up with designer Mira Mikati, known for her colorful and cheeky approach to fashion, for a new sneaker collection for spring/summer 2020. This season marks the Italian shoe brands first collaboration with the designer, and features Superga’s classic 2750 white style reimagined with Mikati’s colorful, cheeky inspiration. The three different styles include one finished in a rainbow of glitter, colorful lurex and metallic blue laces, the second with colorful eyelets and wooden beaded laces, the third embroidered with hand-stitched yarn motifs in a variety of chevron patterns.

“It has always been my dream to collaborate with Superga!” Mikati said. “I’m a huge fan of the brand and have been wearing their classic style in each and every color since my teen age years.  Turning this style into a colorful, happy shoe was a real delight and wearing all three options makes me happy.  We are planning to organize workshops around the beaded version where customers can customize their shoes with their choice of beads that they would pick, making each shoe become a unique one.”

First teased at the opening of the Mira Mikati flagship in London this March, the collaboration ranges from $400 to $560 and is now available at Mira Mikati's website, as well as on Farfetch and Shopbop.
