While the rest of the world rings in the New Year on Jan. 1, the fashion industry enjoys the calm before the storm. Shortly after the New Year’s festivities end and the streets are swept, Europe kicks off the return of Fashion Weeks, starting with the men’s shows in Milan. The couture shows immediately follow Milan and Paris men's, before leading to the start of Fashion Month, a.k.a. New York Fashion Week.
