Renown Sommelier and best-selling author Vanessa Price received commercial recognition after the 2020 release of her national bestselling book, Big Macs & Burgundy: Wine Pairings for the Real World. The book provides essential wine pairings for everything from popcorn, Honey Nut Cheerios, rainbow bagels to Michelin Star dishes. Vanessa explains the science behind the alliance of wine and food flavors and how to create your own delicious and unexpected pairings to elevate both the food and the wine. We loved the book so much we wanted Vanessa to help us pair wine with our favorite comfort food, bread!

I traveled to the Hamptons where Vanessa has been spending her quarantine and post-quarantine months getting to work on her own restaurant, Maverick’s Montauk, which opens in the spring 2022. Therefore, we met at The American Hotel in Sag Harbor to learn the tips from a pro. And a special thanks to Left Hand Montauk Coffee Company for providing us with the baked goods.
