Meet Collaboratory: The ongoing series where AS IF pairs two creative talents together to produce a unique collaboration project. In this edition, we wanted to see what would happen when we combined the disciplines of a high-end bespoke suit maker with the leading underground NY street artists. This is the result. Graffiti artists Mint & Serf lend their graphic graffiti prints to Alexander Sumner, the designer and founder of bespoke menswear brand Alexander Nash. Below, see the result of their collaboration, exclusively shot by us.
MINT & SERF
New York-based graffiti artists have been beautifying and defacing the town since 2009. The dynamic duo began using the city as their backdrop and have gone on to produce a wide range of artwork including large-scale murals, paintings, sculpture, photographs, and nightlife experiences. The Ace Hotel, Marc Jacobs, Soho House and the New York Yankees, among others, have commissioned the artists, further proving the relevance of graffiti in the art world.
