Derek Warburton is an international media personality, fashion stylist, and creative director. As a stylist he has worked with Beyoncé, Miranda Kerr, and Sean Paul. Each year he appears on up to 80 talk shows around the world. Most recently, he was appointed Goodwill Ambassador for Just a Drop, an international water aid charity. The fashionisto took some time out of his busy schedule to share some insights from his jet setting life with us.
What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Warm sunny days wearing sandals, oversized tops and diamonds, eating fresh oysters on a cliffside restaurant in Gozo the island off the coast of Malta.
What is your greatest fear?
Losing my 3 suitcases on the way to Paris Fashion week.
What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
Traveling the month of July and returning the month of August a different size.
What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Ignorance of the world.

Jeff Bezos; he came from nothing and now is taking over the world.
What is your greatest extravagance?
First class tickets and diamonds.
What is your current state of mind?
South of France.

Being humble.

How many cocktails I have had the night before.
What do you most dislike about your appearance?
My waistline.

Airport security.

The men and women who volunteer worldwide to bring clean water and sanitation to families who have never had it.

What is it that you most dislike? What is your greatest regret?
Rain on an island vacation, my greatest regret was going on that vacation.

Front row at Valentino in Paris.
