Introducing the AS IF Proust Beauty Confession Album, where beauty icons, artists, and influencers reveal their deepest beauty secrets by answering the original Marcel Proust questions, but with beauty-centric answers.
As an entrepreneur, designer, and the newly minted creative director at Judith Leiber Couture, Dee Hilfiger has yielded more than a momentous amount of influence in contemporary zeitgeist, solidifying her legacy as a voice in the fashion world. Tommy Hilfiger, designer and husband to the model-turned-businesswoman, attests to the fact as he once described her as someone who is “busier than me.” In our first AS IF Proust Beauty Confession Album, the lead designer at eponymous label, Dee Ocleppo, weighs in on her greatest beauty achievement, her biggest beauty pet peeves, her beauty heroes, and why she'd lie to her friends.

AS IF: Describe your daily beauty regime
My morning beauty routine is pretty simple and quick. Every morning in the shower I use Dr. Lancer method polish exfoliator. After the shower, I apply -- my Jesus juice -- Lotion P50 V 1970 by Biologique Recherche on my face and neck. Then I apply La Mer's Crème de la Mer Moisturizer just around my eyes, and their soft lotion on the rest of my face and neck. Sometimes I use a hydrating serum from Biologique Recherche, and always apply a light tinted sunscreen to finish. I like Elta MD.
My afternoon routine is pretty non- existent as I am usually running around.
If I can’t brush my teeth after lunch, I pop a couple of Listerine strips a fresh coat of lipstick and I am good to go.
Evening routine is makeup removal with Lancôme eye makeup remover, and La Prairie cream cleanser followed by the P50 lotion again. I top it off with the moisturizer cream by Crème de la Mer.
