Make things go right, and the DJ can turn up the music now. Giuseppe Zanotti has collaborated with rap duo Slim Jxmmi and Swae Lee of Rae Sremmurd for the campaign video for their new Blabber sneaker. The new street style sneaker marks one of the most unconventional campaign partnerships the brand has had so far, but one that’s sure to help customers feel the music.

The two star in a fast-paced, upbeat video that celebrates the “Blabber” — a skate inspired sneaker with plenty of new tricks. The campaign video is more music video than fashion film, the stylized crossover is an energetic, of-the-moment, visually rich romp, which finds brothers Jxmmi and Lee kicking it up with different versions of the “Blabber.”

“Sneaker culture has become such a force in contemporary fashion,” says Giuseppe Zanotti. “And for the Blabber, in particular, I wanted to break the rules and create an unexpected campaign — there are no better rule-breakers than Rae Sremmurd.”

Hailing from Tupelo, Mississippi, Rae Sremmurd is known for their infection tracks, whimsical flows and expressive point of view, and have become one of hip-hop’s most talked about acts.

The blabber video puts the brothers’ energy and charisma on full display, capturing them through stylized camera angles, which are cut with stop motion effects and graphic stills. The short piece is accompanied by series of portraits.

“The campaign is really young and fun,” said Slim Jxmmi. “It’s for the new generation, new leaders, new trendsetters and new icons in the world.”

“Sneakers are a very important part of fashion because they can make or break your outfit,” adds Swae Lee. “We want people to put their own twist on these sneakers through their own personal style."

The new Blabber sneakers plays on proportions, different materials, and uncommon textures. Available for both men and women, it comes in three styles: a canvas low-top, a croc-printed leather low-top, and a croc-printed leather high-top. New styles will be released throughout the coming months. The Blabber also comes with a unique sole — an abstract riff of the spiny embellishment of Giuseppe Zanotti’s best-selling Urchin sneaker. The sole options are all-black or all-white.
