There are dogs, and then there are icons; Cora belongs firmly to the latter category. Elegant, emotionally unavailable in the chicest possible way, and seemingly born with an understanding of proportion, restraint, and the power of a good accessory, the AKC Champion moves through the world with the kind of confidence most humans spend years trying to cultivate. Draped in luxury designer threads and entirely unbothered by attention, Cora approaches fashion the same way she approaches life: instinctively, luxuriously, and without apology. We sat down with the supermodel Borzoi to discuss jewelry, indulgence, Prada, and the art of never overexplaining yourself.

AS IF: What’s your most treasured accessory?
Cora: My Tiffany collar and silver name tag engraved with CH. CORA. My Mom had it custom-made for me when I became an AKC Champion. I will cherish it forever - until I become a Grand Champion, and then she will need to have another one made.
What’s currently on your wish list?
Anything I don’t already have. I don’t like gaps in my lifestyle.
What does luxury mean to you?
Not having to explain yourself.

I feel very lucky to wear pieces like this… I’m trying not to get too attached.
What makes you decide to invest in a piece?
If I can see myself reaching for it again without thinking.

Are you more spontaneous or considered when shopping?
A little of both. Some things just make sense immediately.
What are you buying this season?
I just bought a Prada baseball hat. It’s one of those pieces that always work - simple, but it changes the whole look. And chic as hell!
What’s your least favorite thing in fashion?
Anything that requires a “quick adjustment” every five minutes. That’s not an outfit, that’s a situation.
