LuisaViaRoma has brought an island of luxury to New York’s Spring Studio and Spring Place opening the retailer’s first-ever U.S. hybrid pop-up. The LuisaViaRoma @ Spring Studios interactive experience will be open to the public from November 16 to December 15.

LuisaViaRoma is world renowned for championing and discovering new fashion talents. Founded in the late 1920s, the retailer was one of the very first to believe that even the most demanding customer would shop online if the online shopping experience was tailored just right. In 1999, LuisaViaRoma.com was launched. With the pop-up they have created a new way for their customers to shop.

The company’s CEO Andrea Panconesi said, “It was my vision, 10 years ago, to create a shopping experience that was different from the others; where the customer could interact with in-store product while at the same access to 30,000 online items to choose from, with the benefit of expert stylists to guide them through the vast selection of products at their fingertips.”

The shop will showcase a selection of highly curated pieces, and in addition will have interactive digital screens for customers to shop a total of 30,000 items online. Stylists will be available on sit to provide expert fashion advice. New and exclusive co-branded capsule collections will be dropped weekly and professional makeup, beauty products and treatments will also be available.

“Partnering with innovative luxury brand LuisViaRoma is an ideal opportunity for Spring to show our team’s unique ability to create content and experiences where culture and commerce collide,” said Francesco Costa, cofounder of Spring Studio and Spring Place.

The interior of the hybrid pop-up completes the “Home of the Holidays,” installation in Florence. Designed by Cristina Celestina, an emerging Italian designer and architect, the store in Florence has been transformed into a full-fledged home, complete with a dining room, living area, bedroom and kitchen, with the New York pop-up as the final and surprising home extension. Celestino describes it as “an experiential and visionary pop-up that plays with textures, materials, and colors, bringing a tropical atmosphere with a touch of European flair to the city.

Spring Place held the launch event with a star studded guest list including Andrea Panconesi, Nicky Hilton, Danielle Bernstein, Ian Mellencamp, Heron Preston, Kamila Hansen, Sofia Resing, Brandon Marshal, Jessica Hart, Ezra William, Andrew Warren, Eli Mizrahi, and Alana O’Herlihy.
