Actor, model, social media influencer…jewelry designer? Luka Sabbat, who describes himself as a creative entrepreneur, is continuing his collaboration with jewelry designer Gianni Monini and the duo has announced the launch of their newest collection, the “EDGES COLLECTION”.

“I like expanding on ideas,” Sabbat said. “The first collection was like, let's start a line with skulls and we were kind of doing it because it felt right. This collection was based on the art that is on my body so it feels a bit more personal.”


The collection is described as distinctively “lit” with a touch of “fire” and effortlessly chic. The pieces were inspired by Luka’s iconic street style (street style’s thriving, darlings), curated fashion sense and graphic tattoos. The new collection includes rings, pendant necklaces, bracelets, and earrings all with a particular “edge” to each piece. Take for example the signature Scythe Ring with white diamonds. Every piece was hand-made in Italy. It gives a much more artisan feel to everything. Sabbat’s idea was that what was on his body could finally be worn and his tattoos could come to life.

While Sabbat says that the collaboration’s customer is hard to describe, he generally feels like they are someone with a sense of style who is buying the pieces to express themselves. While the collection includes plenty of diamonds


“Working with Gianni has been a learning process, this partnership allows me to express not only my creativity but something super personal to me,” Sabbat said. “It was very organic. We speak and I share some images or tattoos and he sketches what he feels makes sense. His aesthetic is amazing and the quality is lit as well.”


“Luka gives an iconic edge that makes a statement to all he creates,” said Monini. “I’m thrilled that our collaborations continues and look forward to Luka’s continued inspiration.”

On the importance of fashion collaborations in today’s market, Sabbat said, “Collaborations help to bring new ideas and a fresh perspective. I feel sometimes fashion, like everything else, can get stuck in place, and the collaborations are a way to move things forward.”
