It’s a Thom good morning for Barneys. Barneys New York has teamed up with designer Thom Browne for an exclusive partnership running through the rest rof September. The special project features an exclusive capsule collection, the launch of bespoke women’s and men’s made-to-measure offerings and personalization, and a short film titled Anatomy of a Suit directed by Michael Hauptman, and immersive in-store experiences.

Thom Browne’s exclusive capsule collection for Barneys New York features a full range of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, men’s accessories, and novelty items. With men’s and women’s designed in conjunction, the collection features the brand’s signature tailoring and unique twists, including puffer jackets, vests, and sweatsuits.

The Anatomy of a Suit short film showcases the Thom Browne exclusive capsule collection as well as archival pieces. The unique film depicts a dog-headed professor teaching unruly Thom Browne-clad college students the principles of suiting and made-to-measure ensembles. The film was directed by Michael Hauptman, with styling by Sasha and hair styling by Rubi Jones.

In celebration of Thom Browne, Barneys New York’s Madison Avenue flagship will feature a number of interactive in-store experiences, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the world of Thom Browne and the themes of the Anatomy of a Suit short film.

The fourth floor features the Anatomy of a Suit screening, photo installations, and made-to-measure. The main floor features archive installations, with in-store installations and windows running through September 30.

In addition to apparel, other products exclusive to Barneys include Thom Browne x Connor, a line of cards, stationery, and desktop accessories featuring the classic Thom Browne red, white and blue motif as well as a Hector dog motif, and Thom Browne x Sarah Jane Wilde jewelry, which includes necklaces, bracelets and rings in gold and grey pearls, featuring charms and pendants like Hector, a tennis racket, a brogue, and a whale. All pieces feature the Thom Browne colors in rubies, diamonds and sapphires.

Along with the merchandise, Freds at Barneys New York Downtown has launched an exclusive Thom Browne burger. Embodying classic American style like the designer himself, the burger features two beef patties separated by middle bun, American cheese, minced onions, shredded lettuce, and special Freds burger sauce. It is served with Freds famous fries, along with red, white and blue condiments representing Thom Browne’s iconic colors. The condiments are house-made ketchup, mayonnaise, and a special savory blueberry dipping sauce.

It will be served on a tray in a Thom Browne-branded box and fry container. Guests will have the option to add on a mini Moet champagne bottle for an additional price to create a truly unique Thom Browne experience. It will be available through October.
