The 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising, which launched the modern gay liberation movement, is being celebrated in full swing. The latest designer to join the party is Todd Snyder, who has launched his #TSPride Campaign to celebrate and spotlight diverse and dynamic voices of the LGBTQ+ movement. For the collaboration, Snyder invited leaders of the movement to reflect, rejoice, and look forward together to commemorate this monumental moment in LGBT history.

The men, women, and gender non-conforming individuals featured embody love, courage, and style which helped build this movement and continue to propel it forward. The campaign was shot by photographer Ryan Pfluger and the campaign film was directed by R.E. Rogers.

Snyder encouraged the campaign stars to make the campaign their own by sharing personal stories of pride in New York City, where the gay rights movement started on Christopher Street at Stonewall Inn. Each contributor was prompted to complete the open-ended phrase “Make it ____.” Reminiscent of Frank Sinatra’s iconic song, the language of “Making it” emphasizes the spirit of ambition and determination that defines New Yorkers, this anniversary, and the Todd Snyder brand. The resulting campaign stands as an ode to the city and the courageous people who live here. New York continues to be one of the biggest stages and the spiritual home of the LGBT movement.

Both Champion and New Era came together to help design pieces for the collection. The exclusive styles are available to shop online and at the Todd Snyder flagship store on Madison Square North. 20 percent of sales will support Stonewall National Monument through a donation to the National Park Foundation.
